Together with Adfree Cities we are organising a day of talks and workshops around how to build cities and communities free from the pressure of corporate advertising. It will be on the 7th of June at Imagine Leeds, from 11 am to 4 pm. The planned schedule is:

11.00 – 11.15am – Arrivals

11.15 – 11.45am – Welcome & introduction to AdBlock Leeds and Adfree Cities

11.45 – 12.15pm – How to Save a City with Paul Chatterton

12.15 – 1.00pm – Lunch

1.00 – 2.30pm – Transforming Ad Space into Art Space workshop

2.30 – 3.30pm – How to create ad-free cities – introducing ‘ethical’ ad policies

3.30 – 4.00pm – Laptop resistance – how to block new digital screens
